Canjun Moon
|
WHAT'S HE LIKE?
Frenchie is a little bit wild. Not in an out-of-control way, but in an energetic way. He must always be on the move, doing something, or he becomes very hard to handle. He is constantly on the go and does not like to be moving slowly or not at all. He will either stomp or kick or shake just to keep in motion. Sometimes it even looks as though he's dancing. Many people are entranced by his constant movement - it can be kind of hypnotizing to watch Canjun Moon do all his little movements, just to keep moving. Because of this, he doesn't take well to the gates, and does not like to spend too much time in his stall. Rest is a foreign word to Frenchie - the concept of not moving does not register with him. He is more of a free spirited racehorse - he'll go out there and race against others, and he'll do it willingly, but it's more for the feeling of movement than actual love of running. Though Frenchie does like to gallop, and sprinting is his favorite thing to do, as that's the fastest movement available to him. His personality on and off the track is the same - always moving, always wanting to go faster, always asking for more. There is no slow motion running with this colt. He loves to run and to run FAST. He can be off like a bullet from a stand still position. He breaks quickly and sharp from the gate, happy to finally be rid of the enclosed space, and doesn't stop running until the race is over, getting faster and faster as the race nears its end. This favors a closer position. He loves the feeling of just building up to his top speed, and becomes so involved in going faster that he hardly takes notice of the other horses in the field. His nose and eyes are pointed straight ahead, ready for the finish line, but at the same time willing it not to come, simply because he wants to keep on going at the speed he so desires.
WELL...HE IS A RACEHORSE
